TF – Drawing a Wall

When you are ready to start drawing your walls, all you have to do is select the Timber Wall command at the top right of the page.

When you select the Timber Wall command this window will show:

In this command you can start to customize your timber walls with things such as:

  • Wall type
  • Wall height
  • Panel height
  • To have ply or not
  • Stud thickness
  • Stud depth
  • Stud pitch
  • Whether or not to include noggins
  • Height of the noggins

Once you have entered all of your options all you have to do is select ok.

Once you have selected ok you are ready to start drawing your walls, you can do this by simply clicking wherever you want to start the wall and then clicking wherever you want the wall to end. You can also click to start the wall and then press the arrow keys in the direction you want the wall to go and then enter the distance in the small pop up box .

You can draw 4 different types of walls, which are:

  • External Load Bearing Wall
  • Internal Load Bearing Wall
  • Internal Non-Load Bearing Wall
  • Party (Load Bearing) Wall
